Featured Actors
Denise Amrikhas: Recent credits include the lead role in Jennifer Reeder's award winning short "A Heart and Other Small Shapes," which screened at Seattle Intl, 35th Rotterdam Intl, Black Maria, and the Antimatter Underground. Currently, she has 3 film projects slated for release in 2007 and a television commercial airing in the SF bay area.
Brandon Bonds: Born in Oakland, CA in 1985. "I have been acting all my life, but found out I loved it and wanted to do it for life about 2 years ago. I used to run around the house with broken hangers as weapons for hours talking to myself fighting air, etc., making my own films starring me. After being used to it like a boy with a girl as a best friend all his life, I just thought this is what I want to be doing. I have done a couple of things in High School at Skyline High for the drama department, but spent most of my time on the field for the football team where I was named all OAL defensive player and was a 3 year varsity player. I was involved in school plays, but had my most fun at the talent events. After high school I moved around a little looking for the best opportunity to better myself and ended up back home to get into films in the bay area. I have been an extra on a couple of major films, including "Jar Heads" and "Pursuit of happiness". I'm checking everyday for auditions to get more exposure and to better my skills. I have also been the lead in 2 independent films. I'm a hard worker who won't stop until I get to the top. I have big dreams and big heart to see them get awaken."
Wil Robles: "I don't remember anything about me until about 4 years old. I was looking in the mirror. This changed everything. I watched Sesame Street, Electric Company and Smokey and the Bandit. I had a Nerf football, Nerf basketball (with rim) and a baseball and a glove. I had a big wheel to pick up on older chicks with (8 years and up). In school, I was always the shortest kid, so I brought a water gun with me everyday. This lasted thru college. During adolescence, I ran into Geddy, Alex, and Neil. They inspired me. A dude named Ric, who walked around in a glittered bathrobe inspired me too. They still inspire me to this day, along with my mum and bald dad. I lost my job earlier this year because I broke rules and was bad. The water gun had nothing to do with it, I promise. So I surfed, and watched Miami Vice reruns until one day I said, "I can do that!" So I did. Joe thought I could do this too, so he put me on his film. He even gave me a gun (a real one)! This film means a lot to me because it's the first film that I was allowed to speak on (moaning and groaning don't count as words.) Since then, I've run into a lot people like me and Joe, who also agree that I can "act." Thanks for reading about me and watching our film. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I love sneaking my good woman, Jessie into my parents' house."
"When you teach, you learn twice."
- Wil Robles
